- 950 ml thick coconut milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 5 pandan leaves
- food coloring
- 275 gr rice flour
- 75 gr sago flour
- 300 gr sugar
How to make :
- Bring the coconut milk, salt, and pandan leaves to a boil, remove from heat and leave to warm.
- Mix rice flour, sago flour, and sugar.
- Pour in the warm coconut milk little by little while kneading until the sugar is dissolved and smooth.
- Divide the dough into 2 parts.
- One part is white and the other part is yellow.
- Boil water in a pot.
- Heat a 20 x 2 x 7 cm square tin that has been smeared with cooking oil.
- Pour 50 ml of white dough into the pan, smooth.
- Steam for 5 minutes, pour another 50 ml of yellow dough.
- Steam another 5 minutes. And so on.
- Finally, pour 50 ml of yellow dough, steam for 5 minutes.
- Pour another 50 ml of yellow dough.
- Steam for 30 minutes until the cake is completely cooked.
- Remove and cool.
- After it cools down, cut the cake to your liking.
