Nyarai Waterfall (http://lubuk-aluang.blogspot.com)
The flow of water from the waterfall to the pond, is dammed by two stones like a door, like a dam that regulates the flow of water that enters the pond. So here we can swim to our heart’s content, catch fish and play swings from tree roots. Time will not be felt while at the waterfall, what is felt is a sense of pleasure and gratitude to the Almighty for His creation.
It’s not too difficult to find the post of this tourist attraction. If we are from Padang, please stop after the Lubuk Alung (Tax) market, before arriving at the mosque there is an intersection 3 and turn right. The distance from the intersection to the post is approximately 4-5 kilo meters with a travel time of 15-20 minutes by motorbike.

On the way later we will find a dam, after the dam turn right and continue to follow the existing road until you enter the Salibutan tunnel. The road conditions are not very good and up and down will not be an obstacle, stay careful yes.
Entering the post, we will be directed to the registration desk where we have to pay an entrance fee, park the vehicle along with a guide fee of IDR 20,000
per person, quite cheap.
The journey from the post (registration) to the waterfall takes approximately 2 – 3 hours, round trip approximately 5 – 6 hours. It’s better before you start tracking, you have exercised or warmed up a little and predict the weather and prepare supplies for lunch.
If it starts to drizzle and the water starts to turn cloudy, they are advised to get out of the water, for fear of big water coming from above.
*) The price could changes every time.
