The Gabus Cultural Village is located in Gabus Village, Gabus District, Pati Regency, Central Java. Gabus as an art village in the southern part of Pati City is expected to become a new alternative space as an art bag in the Coastal area which is sometimes marginalized by mainstream cultural centers.
Efforts to form an area that becomes a cultural enclave, such as those carried out by art activists in Gabus, Pati Regency, Central Java, requires a process. That’s also what he tried to pop through the Cork Market Festival performance.
The performance, which was held on October 9 and October 10, 2010 in Gabus Village, Gabus District, Pati, Central Java, received a platform for the celebration of agrarians in Java, which is commonly known as Sedekah Bumi. Then the people of Gabus Village established the Sedulur Asih Community in Gabus on Saturday, May 19, 2012 by Gabus residents who had the same view to advance Gabus Village through a cultural approach.
